Never mess with a woman when she's mad, especially when it's a woman who is close to you. Different people have different behaviors when they are angry, and in a relationship, you have to really study how your partner acts when they are mad so you can learn what you have to do to get them to stop. For example, I get really quiet when I'm mad, and so my partner gets a full-on silence treatment when I am mad at him. He knows that if I refuse to talk to him, that means he's done something wrong, and the only way to make up for it is to apologize and give me space for a couple of hours to calm down. He, on the other hand, will let me know immediately what I have done wrong, and once I apologize, he quickly bounces back to being loving and affectionate.
